Agnivarga is one of many Caravans that span across Nusantara. All of them are under Asrgrraha Clan. And right now, Asrgrraha Clan is holding the Great Eight Trial, a Trial to choose one of eight leaders. The Great Eight are selected mages with special priviledge, they are able to travel all around the world. The goal is simple, gather as many knowledge as possible, and that's why this moment is so important for Agniya.

Resonance Of The Soul: Fragments Of The Past is a JRPG sets in a fantasy world called Nusantara, where Guild and Adventurer are big parts of the game.

In this demo, we are focused on Marshland Region.
No random encounter! Agniya can spot the enemy with Spatial Sense, you can choose
to ignore them or battle them while doing the missions.
A fair and strategic battle system where MP is restored every new turns.
Skill Tree system, where you can modify the basic Mantra into something much more powerful!

This demo consist of Opening/prolog sequence up until visiting one village, in it there will be 5 Guild Contracts side quests, and 5 radiant/repeatable quests. We are still very much on the developing phase. And we need all the helps we can get, especially the grammar section, we are not native english speakers so there will be so many errors regarding spelling, grammar or anything related to it. If anyone is open for helping us improving our game's grammar and spelling, please contact our discord.
So what happened to Resonance Of The Soul part 1?
We decided to postpone the development of ROTS part 1 mainly the story part, and focus on Agniya's character and story first. With our different schedule, and the size of the team, it's quite hard to achieve consistent updates for ROTS part 1. In a way this is the prologue for ROTS part 1, so yeah!
We also still looking for anyone that is able to fill the role for audio/music maker. Sadly, we cannot promise any payments since we also working on this project without any sort of payments. This is pretty much our passion, and we are looking for someone with the same mindset, with required skill.
Gamepad is fully supported (and we are suggesting to play with it!), but you can also use keyboard and mouse to play.
You can also rebind the actions on keyboard!

Hi there, the sequel will be in development and combined with the current game. The older game, while it has the story, the gameplay is pretty outdated.

Yeah so leaving some text mistakes aside ( my game suffers from that too =P)
The game looks nice and has some nice mechanics.
However I am 1 hour into the game and had 1 fight where I one shot a monster so far...
So the balance beetween talking and action is very off.
I also never did run into any encounter or noticed any to trigger.
when reaching the first vilage or town not sure, where you need to do 5 guild quest.
I did pick the revenge of the chicken one, it says follow the footprints but there are none.
All maps yu have acces too don´t have any fight or any footprints is that a bug?
And yes I used the sense thingie abilitiy but no luck with that.
And all other maps on the world map do not let you enter...
I back tracked and went back and forth to the maps I got access too and nothing.
If it´s a bug need to fix it , if not then it´s very unclear to the player what to do or more like where it is.
I think the game has potential but it´s not there yet to be really playable or enjoyable in terms of gameplay.
Atm most things are just auto run text, text and more text and no action or exploration.
I also was kinda sad about the fact that you can no really walk on the worldmap or the town.
They just images or small box rooms, it´s just my personal taste but it feels like you wanted to avoid making more maps for it x,D

Oh, regarding the balance, thank you i will fix later on, i don't want the game to be difficult in this stage haha xD
also you must use the Spatial Sense, just like on the first tutorial where you must find a mushroom to see the footprints, it's marked red for the first few footsteps! i will attach the image here just in case:
As for the encounter, you can see them when picking the replayable quest, and using the spatial sense to spot them :D
And you can walk around on replayable quest, it's beside the Guild Contract quests. I will make it easier to spot by giving them name in the next update :D
As for the village, yeah it's design choice since I'm the only one who handle most stuffs here, so I don't want open map when i cant optimize it to feel good exploring, so I opted for separate regions per quest :D

Yeah getting balance and also finding things to progress right is tricky.
Since we as developers in our own games know anything and think it is all easy.
But blind players are always fools and don´t find things that for us would be obvious since we made them.
